The enamel on the top surface of your tooth is the hardest part of your entire body.
Teeth start to form even before your are born.
Humans have four different types of teeth: Incisors, Canine, Pre-Molars, and Molars. They are used to cut, grind and tear our food.
Humans have only two sets of teeth in their entire lifetime.
No two people have the same set of teeth. Your teeth are as unique as your fingerprint.
Your mouth produces over 25,000 quarts of saliva in a lifetime. (That's enough to fill 2 swimming pools, LOL!)
An average person spends 38.5 days of their life brushing their teeth over their entire lifetime.
There are many diseases that are linked to oral health: Diabetes, Osteoporosis, and Heart Disease are just a few.
1/3 of your tooth is under your gums. 2/3 of your tooth is visible above your gums. I know interesting, huh?
If you get your tooth knocked out, don't freak out. Put your tooth in milk, yes milk. It will help your tooth survive longer. But, make sure to see me right away.
